Bill Gates’ gearing focus to philanthropic over Microsoft

Microsoft co-founder and social technologist, Bill Gates, is stepping down from the company’s Board of Directors into a Technology Advisor role to concentrate more on his philanthropic initiatives, the company announced Friday afternoon.
