Microsoft recognize the continued impact of these challenging times on our partners and their customers. To provide partners with additional flexibility they are granting a one-time extension of FY21 H1 co-op usage and claim periods into FY21 H2.

Co-op funds are awarded as part of your incentive earnings and can be claimed for eligible marketing, demand generation, and readiness activities.

With this extension of co-op usage and claim periods, co-op funds earned in the FY20 H2 earning period (January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020) and previously only usable in the FY21 H1 usage period (July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020) can now be used for activities in both the FY21 H1 usage period (July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020) and the FY21 H2 usage period (January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021).

Reimbursement claims for activities performed in both FY21 H1 and FY21 H2 are accepted until August 15, 2021. You can make claims for such activities against co-op funds from the FY21 H1 usage period and the FY21 H2 usage period interchangeably.

You must submit your co-op claims in the Partner Center claims tool. You can check your co-op balance in your Partner Center earnings dashboard. Refer to the co-op asset collection on the Microsoft partner website for information about eligible activities, claim submission, and more.

Next steps

• Continue to drive marketing, demand generation, and readiness efforts, and submit claims for eligible activities performed in FY21 H1 and FY21 H2 before August 15, 2021.
• Check your co-op account balance regularly to ensure that you use the entire amount by the close of the H2 usage period on June 30, 2021.
