Microsoft's new commerce experience is not just offering more flexible subscription terms for customers - there are also competitive pricing deals for monthly and annual terms available until June 30, 2022.
Sign up for Umbrellar’s webinar to get an in-depth walkthrough of Microsoft’s new commerce experience and what it means for your CSP business and your customers.
Umbrellar cloud specialists Alexandr Basan and Hazel Yang, joined by Microsoft’s Paul Bowkett, go through what you need to know about the new seat-based commerce experience, including:
For partners, the new commerce experience gives greater sales agility and promotes customer commitment with promotions, cost benefits for longer terms and increased upgrade availability.
There’s also operational efficiencies and cost savings in the enhanced provisioning and management capabilities and easier price list and reconciliation file processing.
Customers stand to benefit from the new commerce experience as well, with premium-priced monthly term subscriptions that allow cancellation or seat-count reduction each month (although it’s worth noting some commercial seat-based offers in NCE currently do not have the monthly term option, so it’s best to check the CSP catalogue or contact one of Umbrellar’s cloud experts to confirm availability.)
Microsoft has also made it easier for customers to adopt new products and add-ons available separately, plus the new Windows 365 (monthly term only – but at annual term pricing). There’s also consumption-based billing for telco offers.
Please note the discounts available:

Microsoft
Microsoft is a technology company whose mission is to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more. We strive to create local opportunity, growth, and impact in every country around the world.
Cloud Governance
The cloud creates new paradigms for the technologies that support the business. These new paradigms also change how those technologies are adopted, managed, and governed. When entire datacenters can be virtually torn down and rebuilt with one line of code executed by an unattended process, we have to rethink traditional approaches. This is especially true for governance. Cloud governance is an iterative process. For organizations with existing policies that govern on-premises IT environments, cloud governance should complement those policies. The level of corporate policy integration between on-premises and the cloud varies depending on cloud governance maturity and a digital estate in the cloud. As the cloud estate changes over time, so do cloud governance processes and policies.
