Google is set to ban ads from running alongside debunked Covid-19 conspiracy theories from August.

CNBC reports Google will remove ads from articles as well as ban all ads for sites that violate the new rule. Google had already banned ads that made harmful claims about the treatment of coronavirus.

The ban applies to several debunked theories, including the links to Bill Gates and 5G networks.
